MSL KENYA.
A survey for the establishment of MSL in Kenya was conducted in 2008 by Jimkuta Sanda.
However, the work started in earnest in 2009 when Mark and Amina Kolo pioneered the formation of the Movement. Presently, the MSL Kenya has 4 Zones with 12 Chapters. It has so far either adopted or partnered with more than 15 unreached people groups and mission fields mostly in Northern Kenya. The projects and programmes range from training of missionaries, provision of upkeep for missionaries and their families, construction of physical structures and procurement of equipment for the propagation of the gospel amongst unreached people groups. All these have helped in no small measure in the advancement of the Great Commission in the affected areas.
MSL GAMBIA.
The MSL vision was pioneered in Gambia by Dr. Kool and Dr. (Mrs.) Hannah Ibanga in 2004. Even though a mono-Chapter Movement, MSL Gambia has endured all forms of drawbacks due to the small number of Christians in the country. The resilient nature of MSL in Gambia has been a tremendous source of encouragement to other Movements taking their spiritual environment into consideration. The Chapter, in partnership with a Church in Gambia, House of Wisdom, has made some significant impact in the dissemination of the good news to unreached people groups. Medical outreaches have been held in numerous localities to touch the lives of the people in a positive way.
MSL UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA).
The Movement was birthed at Atlanta, Georgia, in 2013. It is fully registered as 501c, Not for Profit Organisation, and has also been granted tax deductible status which entitles donors to statutory refunds. The partnership between MSL and Christian Missionary Foundation (CMF), is on the Djimini Pandogo people group located in Bassawa, Dakabala, in northern Cote de Voire. The field is largely unreached with less than 1.8% who are just Church goers. There are plans to undertake strategic projects that will impact the field in a wholesome manner. It is presently a mono-Chapter National Movement but arrangements are in place to establish more Chapters in some cities.
MSL UNITED KINGDOM (U.K).
In the United Kingdom, MSL was inaugurated in 2013, and made up of Nigerians in the diaspora. It has adopted a work by the Neighbourhood Ministry of WEC International, in Birmingham, England. Migration has become a major issue in global missions as the unreached who were so distant have come to the doorsteps of the Church in Europe. This presents an opportunity of reaching them outside their traditional environment and the partnership between MSL and the Neighbourhood Ministry is just achieving that purpose.
INCOMING NATIONAL MOVEMENTS.
In fulfilling the global mandate of the MSL, arrangements are in place for the establishment of other National Movements across Africa and beyond. The mobilisation of the Church will surely serve as a catalyst in the accomplishment of the global commission to make disciples of all nations on earth.
